1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to heat preference)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for richness)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces to the buttermilk mixture, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) to tenderize and add flavor.

    Prepare the Coating: In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. This will be the seasoned flour for the chicken.

      Coat the Chicken: Remove chicken from the buttermilk marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated. Shake off any excess flour.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
