Fit the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and flute the edges. If desired, poke a few holes in the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbling.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the apple butter, eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk to blend these ingredients together until smooth.
Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until everything is well incorporated and the sugars are dissolved.
Pour the apple butter mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading evenly.
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set and the top has a light golden color.
Once done, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least an hour before slicing.
Serve the pie at room temperature or slightly warmed. For an extra touch, add a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
