Ingredients

4 large croissants

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup deli ham, sliced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, sliced ham, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, chopped chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom.

Take a generous amount of the chicken, ham, and cheese mixture and spread it onto the bottom half of each croissant.

Place the top half of the croissant back on and gently press down to secure the filling.

Brush the tops of the assembled croissants with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
