Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

1 bunch of fresh asparagus, trimmed

2 lemons (one thinly sliced, one juiced)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

Aluminum foil

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil on a baking sheet, making sure it's large enough to create a sealed packet.

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Place the salmon fillets in the center of the foil. Surround the salmon with the trimmed asparagus.

Drizzle the herb-oil mixture over the salmon and asparagus, evenly coating them.

Arrange the lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.

Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, creating a sealed packet. Make sure there are no openings to retain moisture while baking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Carefully open the foil packet, allowing steam to escape, and serve immediately.
