Ingredients

8 oz fresh egg noodles (or any preferred noodles)

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

1 red bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

4 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Noodles: Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside. Toss with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine sliced flank steak, cornstarch, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Blanch the Broccoli: In a pot of boiling water, briefly blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until tender yet crisp. Remove and plunge in ice water to retain color. Drain and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.

Cook Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Stir-fry the bell pepper, garlic, and ginger for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Return the beef to the skillet, add the blanched broccoli, cooked noodles, the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Finish & Serve: Drizzle with sesame oil, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
