Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup fresh berries (optional, for topping)

Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.

Roll out one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the greased baking dish, sealing the seams to create a crust.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, lemon zest, and cinnamon until fully combined.

Pour the egg mixture into the cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth.

Pour the cream cheese filling over the crescent roll crust in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough and tear it into small pieces; sprinkle these pieces over the top of the cream cheese filling.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares. Serve warm or chilled. Top with fresh berries and whipped cream if desired.
