0.25cupspecial sauce (mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and relish)
8smalltortillas
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
While the beef is cooking, heat another skillet on medium heat. Warm the tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until they are soft and pliable.
Once the beef is ready, smash it down in the skillet with a spatula to create a crust on the bottom. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until crispy.
Remove the smashed beef from the heat and begin assembling the tacos. On each tortilla, place a portion of the beef.
Top each with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced pickles, and diced tomatoes.
Drizzle the special sauce over the fillings before folding the tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
For an extra touch, place the filled tacos back on the skillet for a minute on each side to create a crispy taco shell.
Notes
Serve the tacos on a colorful plate, garnished with extra pickles and a small bowl of additional special sauce on the side for dipping.
