Ingredients

2 Salmon fillets (6 oz each)

8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Seafood: Pat the salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the salmon with Cajun seasoning, and sprinkle the shrimp with a little salt and pepper. Set aside.

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Flip the Salmon: Carefully flip the salmon fillets and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the salmon is cooked through. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Combine and Finish: Stir in lemon juice and cook for an additional minute. Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet, coating them in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for 1 more minute to heat everything through.

Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

                - Presentation Tips: Plate the salmon and shrimp together, drizzled with garlic butter sauce and garnish with additional parsley. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
