Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1 cup cooked and cooled apples (diced, preferably Granny Smith)

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling

1 slice of apple pie (store-bought or homemade)

Whipped cream for topping

Crumbled graham crackers for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, diced apples, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy, but still slightly chunky for texture.

Drizzle in the ¼ cup of caramel sauce while blending for added sweetness and flavor. Blend just until combined.

Take the slice of apple pie and crumble it into the milkshake mixture. Pulse the blender a few times, just to mix the pie crumbles into the shake.

Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses until they are about ¾ full.

          Top generously with whipped cream.

Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the whipped cream and sprinkle crumbled graham crackers on top for added crunch.

Optionally, garnish with a thin apple slice on the rim of the glass for a festive touch.
