Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup whole milk, warmed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt until well combined.

Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the warmed milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Make sure the mixture is not too hot to avoid cooking the eggs.

Form Dough: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a rough dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Set aside.

Roll Out Dough: Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle (about 16x12 inches).

Add Filling: Brush melted butter generously over the dough, then evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture and chopped pecans over the top.

Roll and Cut: Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces, about 1-1.5 inches thick.

Prepare Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and drizzle half of the caramel sauce on the bottom. Place the cut rolls on top of the caramel.

Second Rise: Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Finish with Caramel: Once baked, drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the hot rolls before serving.

Prep Time: 20 min | Total Time: 2 hrs | Servings: 12 rolls

                            - Presentation Tips: Serve warm, garnished with extra chopped pecans on top and a drizzle of caramel sauce for an irresistible treat!
