Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

1 large egg

1 cup buttermilk

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper until well blended.

Gently fold in the grated cheddar cheese, crumbled feta cheese, chopped parsley, and chives into the dry mix, ensuring everything is evenly coated with flour.

In another bowl, whisk together the egg, buttermilk, and melted butter until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are perfectly fine.

Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, portion the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about three-quarters full.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once done, remove the muffins from the oven, let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 12 muffins

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the muffins warm with a small dollop of herbed butter on the side, garnished with a sprig of fresh herbs to enhance the visual appeal. Enjoy them as a delightful snack or alongside soups and salads!
