1

0.75
cups
warm water (about 110°F)

1.5

0.5
cups
grated parmesan cheese
1

beaten (for egg wash)
2
tablespoons
fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangular shape, about ½ inch thick.
Sprinkle the garlic powder, dried oregano, mozzarella, and parmesan evenly across the dough.
Cut the dough into star shapes or tree shapes using a cookie cutter.
Stack the shapes on top of each other, slightly overlapping, to create a tree effect and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops of the dough with the beaten egg for shine.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cheesy.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley.
Notes
Serve warm for the best cheesy experience.
