2 cups penne pasta

1 pound chicken breast, cubed

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

      Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt, pepper, and dried Italian seasoning. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

        Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

          Incorporate Cheese: Once simmering, add grated Parmesan cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

            Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, and the cheese sauce. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

              Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly, and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

                Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                  Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
