Ingredients

4 medium-sized potatoes, diced

1 lb smoked sausage, sliced

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, finely sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat the potatoes evenly.

Spread the seasoned potatoes onto a large baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they start to soften.

While the potatoes are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced smoked sausage. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the sausage is browned and heated through.

After 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and stir in the cooked sausage. Drizzle the ranch dressing over the potato and sausage mixture and mix until everything is evenly coated.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few moments before garnishing with sliced green onions.

Serve warm, and enjoy this cheesy, savory dish!
