Ingredients

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup diced tomatoes with green chilies (canned or fresh)

1 cup ground beef or turkey (optional)

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup milk (adjust for desired creaminess)

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

If using meat, in a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.

Stir in the diced tomatoes with green chilies, cooked meat (if using), chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Gradually add the milk to the mixture, stirring until you reach your desired consistency. You may add more milk for a creamier dip.

Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker or a baking dish. If using a slow cooker, cook on low for about 1-2 hours. If baking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

Once cooked, remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.

Serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping.
