Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 cup tahini

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, tahini, brown sugar, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this may make the bread dense.

Fold in the dark chocolate chips and walnuts (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes | Servings: 10 slices

                    - Presentation Tips: Slice the banana bread and serve warm with a drizzle of tahini on top. Consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt and extra chocolate chips for a decadent finish.
