Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)

1 cup white chocolate chips

Extra crushed cookies for topping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.

Fold in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop generous amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Sprinkle a few extra crushed cookies over the tops of each cookie for added texture and appeal.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look soft but will firm up as they cool.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
