In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, diced bell peppers, sliced black olives, garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until combined.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce evenly on the bottom of a baking dish.
Place your pizza crust on top of the sauce. If using a cauliflower crust, make sure to pre-bake for about 10 minutes according to package instructions before proceeding.
Spoon the cottage cheese mixture over the pizza crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
Pour the remaining pizza sauce over the cottage cheese mixture and spread it out evenly.
Top everything with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the crust are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

For a gluten-free option, use a cauliflower crust.
