2 cups cottage cheese (drained)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

1 tablespoon fresh dill (chopped)

1/2 cup spinach (finely chopped)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional: sour cream or yogurt for serving

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained cottage cheese, egg, chopped dill, and finely chopped spinach. Mix well until smooth.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cottage cheese mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.

      Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.

        On a lightly floured surface, divide the dough into small equal portions (about the size of a golf ball). Roll each portion into a log shape (about 4 inches long).

          Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the rolls in the pan, seam side down.

            Fry the rolls for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

              Remove the rolls from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

                Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.
