Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup crispy bacon, crumbled

1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots

1/2 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Extra 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Pour the chicken mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.

Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture, ensuring they cover the entire surface.

Sprinkle the extra cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
