Ingredients

1 cup fresh cranberries

1 medium jalapeño, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon lime juice

1/4 cup chopped pecans for garnish

Instructions

Start by rinsing the fresh cranberries under cold water. If using frozen cranberries, thaw and drain them well.

In a medium saucepan, add the cranberries and 1/4 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and stir occasionally until the cranberries start to pop (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool.

Once the cranberries have cooled, transfer them to a mixing bowl. Add the finely chopped jalapeño, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Squeeze fresh lime juice into the bowl and gently mix until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, adding more salt or lime juice if desired.

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Before serving, sprinkle the chopped pecans on top for an added crunch and garnish.

              Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 6-8

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the dip with a colorful assortment of crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks arranged around the bowl for an attractive display.
