Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

3 cups beef broth

1 cup carrots, diced

1 cup celery, diced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup heavy cream

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add the diced onion and garlic to the pot with the beef, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the diced potatoes, carrots, and celery, mixing everything well for about 2 minutes.

Pour in the beef broth and add the Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes and carrots are tender.

Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, and mix until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
