Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to break up the meat.

Add Garlic: When the beef is cooked, add minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic.

Make the Sauce: Reduce heat to low and add the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir well and let it gently simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Incorporate Cheese: Gradually sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts completely and forms a creamy sauce.

Season: Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine: Add the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy sauce.

Add Tomatoes: Gently fold in the halved cherry tomatoes, allowing them to warm through without breaking apart.

Serve: Plate the creamy pasta in bowls and garnish with fresh basil leaves, additional Parmesan if desired, and a sprinkle of freshly cracked pepper.
