Begin by seasoning both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over the top. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
