1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 loaf of crusty French bread, sliced

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

    Create the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. When melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).
