4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 cups cherry tomatoes, quartered

1 cup fresh basil, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

      Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear them for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the skillet from heat.

        In a mixing bowl, combine the quartered cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, and balsamic glaze. Toss gently to coat.

          Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over the seared chicken breasts in the skillet.

            Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the tomato mixture.

              Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbling and lightly golden.

                Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
