Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 cup cream of chicken soup

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 package (12 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish and pour the chicken mixture evenly into the bottom of the dish, smoothing it out with a spatula.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.

Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.

Evenly distribute the quartered biscuit pieces over the cheese layer, ensuring the mixture is mostly covered.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
