Ingredients

12 large pasta shells

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup spinach, cooked and drained

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup marinara sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Pasta Shells: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and cook the pasta shells for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Shells: Carefully fill each pasta shell with the ricotta-spinach mixture. Place the stuffed shells in a baking dish, open side up.

Add Marinara Sauce: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, ensuring they are well covered.

Sprinkle with Cheese: Top the stuffed shells with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, let the dish cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
