16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1/4 cup diced red bell pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts (for coating)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled blue cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.

    Using a hand mixer or spatula, blend the ingredients until they are well combined and creamy.

      Once mixed, use your hands to shape the cheese mixture into a football shape (about 6 inches long).

        Place the chopped pecans or walnuts onto a large plate. Roll the cheese ball in the nuts, pressing gently to adhere the nuts to the entire surface.

          Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.

            Before serving, remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

              Serve with assorted crackers on a platter for dipping.
