Ingredients

8 slices of thick-cut sourdough bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined, creating a flavorful garlic spread.

Take each slice of sourdough bread and spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side. Ensure the garlic mixture covers the entire slice for maximum flavor.

Place the buttered slices on a baking sheet, buttered side up.

Sprinkle a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese on top of each slice for added flavor and texture.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese starts to bubble.

For an extra crispy finish, turn on the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice diagonally for serving.

Enjoy your Garlic Bliss Bread while warm!
