Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Start by patting the steak bites dry with paper towels. This will help them sear nicely in the pan.

Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper on all sides.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.

Flip the steak bites and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they reach your desired doneness (medium-rare to medium is recommended).

Reduce the heat to low and push the steak bites to one side of the skillet. In the empty side, add the butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.

Allow the garlic to cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then toss everything together, ensuring the steak bites are coated in the garlic butter.

Cook for an additional minute, stirring to combine well, then remove from heat.

Transfer the steak bites to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley for an added pop of color.
