8 oz (225g) egg noodles

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 red bell pepper, sliced

2 green onions, chopped

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the sliced steak and season with black pepper. Sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside, keeping it warm.

      Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

        Combine the Flavors: Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce into the garlic butter. Add the sliced red bell pepper and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the peppers soften slightly.

          Mix in Noodles and Steak: Add the cooked egg noodles and the seared steak back into the skillet. Toss everything together gently until the noodles are well coated in the sauce and heated through.

            Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Divide the noodles into bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds if desired.
