Ingredients

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.

Add Chicken to Marinade: Add the cubed chicken to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well-coated with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat the Grill or Oven: If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat it to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

          Grill or Bake the Skewers:

            - If grilling: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).

              - If baking: Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.

Add the Parmesan Cheese: In the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the skewers, allowing it to melt slightly.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the skewers from the heat. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

                    Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 50 mins | Servings: 4

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the skewers on a wooden platter lined with fresh greens, and add a small bowl of marinara or garlic dipping sauce on the side for an extra kick! Enjoy!
