Ingredients

6 large buttery croissants, torn into pieces

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the torn croissant pieces, diced ham, Swiss cheese, and cheddar cheese. Toss gently to mix.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant and ham mixture in the baking dish. Press down lightly to ensure all the croissant pieces are soaked in the egg mixture.

Allow the mixture to sit for about 10-15 minutes, so the croissants absorb some of the egg mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the middle and lightly golden on top.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Garnish with freshly chopped chives before serving.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 6-8
