1 cup shredded cooked chicken

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup pizza sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup milk

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Extra flour for dusting

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined. Set aside.

      Make the Dough: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add in the milk and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour.

        Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape, about ¼ inch thick. Cut the dough into smaller rectangles, approximately 4x5 inches.

          Fill the Rolls: Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto one half of each rectangle. Be sure to leave a little space around the edges to seal.

            Seal the Rolls: Fold the other half of the dough over the filled side to create a pocket. Press the edges together firmly, and use a fork to crimp them for extra sealing.

              Apply Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the pizza rolls with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

                Bake: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

                  Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair them with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
