2 slices of whole grain bread

1 tablespoon butter, softened

2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

1 ripe banana, sliced

1 tablespoon honey

A pinch of cinnamon

A sprinkle of sea salt (optional)

Instructions
 

Begin by buttering one side of each slice of whole grain bread evenly.

    Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.

      Layer one slice of sharp cheddar cheese on the bread, then add the banana slices evenly on top of the cheese.

        Drizzle the honey over the banana slices, sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt for enhanced flavor.

          Place the second slice of cheddar cheese on top of the bananas and finish with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

            Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.

              Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.

                Remove from the skillet and let it sit for a minute before slicing it in half.
