Ingredients

1 large head of romaine lettuce, chopped

1 cup croutons

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup Avanaise (egg-free mayonnaise)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 garlic clove, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Cherry tomatoes, halved for garnish

Instructions

Start by preparing the dressing. In a medium bowl, combine the Avanaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as desired.

In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce.

Drizzle the prepared Avanaise dressing over the lettuce, reserving a tablespoon for garnish if desired.

Gently toss the lettuce with the dressing until the leaves are well coated.

Sprinkle the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the salad. Toss lightly to combine, allowing the cheese and croutons to mix in without breaking them apart.

For an extra touch, add halved cherry tomatoes around the edges of the salad for a pop of color and freshness.

If you reserved some dressing, drizzle it over the top for an attractive finish.

Serve immediately, enjoying the crunchy textures and rich flavors!
