Ingredients

4 large spinach or tomato flour tortillas

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup Italian-style deli meats (such as salami, prosciutto, and pepperoni), sliced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Lay a tortilla flat on a clean cutting board or surface. Spread a generous layer of the seasoned cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Layer the deli meats on top of the cream cheese, followed by mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, black olives, and chopped basil leaves.

Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly to form a pinwheel. Make sure to keep the filling tightly packed as you roll.

After rolling, use a sharp knife to slice the pinwheel into bite-sized pieces (around 1-2 inches thick). Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and chill them in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 16 pinwheels

                - Presentation Tips: Arrange the pinwheels in a circular pattern on a large serving platter, garnished with fresh basil and olives. Add a small dish of marinara sauce in the center for dipping.
