Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

1 pound ground beef (or ground pork)

1/2 cup cooked jasmine rice

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

For the Spicy Mayo Dip:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Sriracha (adjust for spice preference)

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon honey (optional for sweetness)

For Garnish:

Sesame seeds

Extra chopped green onions

Instructions

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or pork), cooked jasmine rice, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Form the Meatballs: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Form the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and have a nice golden color. If you want a more caramelized exterior, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.

Make the Spicy Mayo Dip: While the meatballs are baking, prepare the dip by combining the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, sesame oil, and honey in a small bowl. Mix well and adjust the spiciness by adding more Sriracha if desired.

Serve: Once the meatballs are done, let them cool slightly. Transfer them to a serving platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and extra chopped green onions for garnish. Serve with the spicy mayo dip on the side.
