Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the drained chickpeas, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and sea salt.
Toss the chickpeas in the mixture until they are evenly coated.
Spread the seasoned chickpeas evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until crispy and golden.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or add to salads and grain bowls for extra protein.
