Ingredients

2 packages (24 oz each) frozen cheese ravioli

2 cups marinara sauce

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well mixed.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Layer half of the frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture.

Add another layer of marinara sauce and then the remaining ravioli on top.

Spread the rest of the ricotta mixture over the second layer of ravioli.

Top the entire casserole with the remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Once out of the oven, let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
