Ingredients

8 oz (about 3 cups) penne pasta

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups beef broth

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until they begin to soften. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Stir well to combine, scraping any flavorful bits off the bottom of the skillet.

Bring the mixture to a boil and add the penne pasta. Stir to combine and reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix until fully combined. Top with provolone cheese, cover, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm.
