Ingredients

1 pound thinly sliced beef (such as flank steak)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 large bell pepper, thinly sliced (any color)

8 slices provolone cheese

12 slider rolls (like Hawaiian rolls or small burger buns)

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sliced beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using. Add the beef to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned but not overcooked. Remove it from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and caramelized. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and return the beef to the skillet, mixing everything well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld the flavors.

Assemble Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet. Layer half of the provolone cheese over the bottom halves of the rolls. Spoon the beef and vegetable mixture evenly over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese slices.

Bake Sliders: Place the top halves of the slider rolls on the assembled mixture. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and optionally sprinkle with a little garlic powder. Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Once out of the oven, let the sliders cool for a minute, then cut them apart along the seams. For an extra touch, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for color and flavor.
