Ingredients

1 cup brewed hibiscus tea

1/2 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)

1/2 cup fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cherry or raspberry powder (optional, for garnish)

Ice (if serving cold)

Instructions

Brew the Hibiscus Tea: Start by brewing your hibiscus tea according to package instructions. Use one tea bag or 1 tablespoon of dried hibiscus flowers in 1 cup of boiling water and steep for 5-7 minutes. Once brewed, let it cool slightly or chill in the fridge if you want an iced latte.

Prepare the Raspberry Puree: In a small saucepan, add the fresh raspberries and honey (or maple syrup), and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the raspberries break down and turn into a sauce. Remove from heat and let cool.

Heat the Milk: In a small pot, heat the milk over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling. Alternatively, froth the milk using a frother for a creamier texture.

Combine the Ingredients: In a large mug or glass, add the raspberry puree to the bottom. Gently pour the brewed hibiscus tea over the raspberry layer. Then, carefully add the hot milk to create a beautiful layered effect.

Add Flavors: Stir in the vanilla extract. If desired, sprinkle a bit of cherry or raspberry powder on top for a pop of color and flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a few whole raspberries on top. If you're serving it iced, add ice before pouring the tea and milk.
