1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked chorizo sausage (or ground beef for a milder flavor)

1 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions
 

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the cooked chorizo or ground beef and cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

    Stir in the softened cream cheese, allowing it to melt and combine with the meat, stirring until smooth.

      Pour in the drained Rotel tomatoes and stir until well incorporated.

        Add the sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin into the mixture, and continue to stir until everything is combined and heated through, about 5 minutes.

          Reduce heat to low and gradually mix in shredded cheddar cheese, stirring continuously until melted and creamy.

            Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

              Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
