Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled

6 large eggs

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

Chopped fresh chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large skillet, cook the crumbled breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat, if necessary.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage. Cook, stirring frequently, until the eggs are scrambled and just set, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and incorporated.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about 2-3 tablespoons of the sausage and egg mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.

Roll up the dough starting from the wide end, tucking in the sides as you go for a secure seal. Place the rolls seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Remove from the oven and cool slightly. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh chives for an extra touch of flavor and color.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 rolls

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve warm on a platter with a side of salsa or hot sauce for dipping. Garnish with additional cheese or herbs for a pop of color!
