Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled

1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns

8 large eggs

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and drain excess fat if needed.

In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and milk. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Add in the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well combined.

Layer the frozen hashbrowns evenly in the greased baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the hashbrowns, and then add the cooked sausage evenly on top.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the entire casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes before slicing.

Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 8

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the casserole warm, sliced into squares on a vibrant platter, and consider a dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of hot sauce for added flavor.
