Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking for about 5-7 minutes or until softened. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the thinly sliced sirloin steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned but still medium-rare. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Creamy Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream into the skillet with the steak. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add the shredded provolone cheese, whisking continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Combine Everything: Add the sautéed vegetables back into the skillet with the creamy sauce. Then, fold in the cooked tortellini gently, ensuring they are coated well with the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes on low heat to warm everything through.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
