4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup heavy cream

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: 1 cup spinach or kale for added greens

Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme on both sides. Allow them to marinate for about 15 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden-brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

      In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft and translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

        Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, letting it thicken slightly.

          If using, add the spinach or kale to the sauce and stir until wilted. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

            Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.

              Once everything is well combined and heated through, remove from heat.
