1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

    Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper. Once the butter is hot, add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a nice crust and are medium-rare. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.

      In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

        Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

          In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Pour this sauce over the shrimp and sauté for another minute, ensuring the shrimp are well-coated.

            Return the steak bites to the skillet, gently tossing them with the shrimp and the garlic butter soy glaze until everything is heated through and well-combined. Adjust seasoning, if necessary.

              Remove from the heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
